Pelican Parcels Pop Up to Churchill Square
Brighton & Hove children's charity Pelican Parcels is inviting the local community to support babies, children and families in need through a special charity pop‑up at Churchill Square, running this week from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th April, 10am to 5pm daily.
Located between Mango and Schuh, the Pelican Parcels Pop‑Up will offer a welcoming, family‑friendly space where shoppers can learn more about the charity’s work, meet volunteers, take a pre-loved item (for a donation) and make clothing donations to directly support children across Sussex.
Pelican Parcels Pop‑Up: What's on
Lots of new and pre-loved items to take home for a donation
Donation point for your great condition, pre-loved clothing for babies up to 16 years old
Colouring station for children
Come say hi and learn about the work they do to supporting local families
Making a Real Local Impact
Pelican Parcels is Brighton & Hove’s only baby bank providing new and pre‑loved essential items for babies, children and young people aged 0 to 16. In 2025 alone, the charity supported over 6,000 babies, children and families, helping them access the essentials they need during times of hardship.
With further rises to the cost of living announced just this week, even more families will be struggling to afford basic items such as children’s clothing and shoes, beds, buggies and school uniform. Pelican Parcels exists to bridge that gap, taking donations from families who no longer need them and gifting them to families who do. With up to 1 in 4 children in Brighton & Hove growing up in poverty, community support is vital in ensuring children have access to clothing and essentials that help them thrive.
Whether shoppers are looking for a more sustainable way to give, decluttering their homes, or simply want to support a trusted local charity, the pop‑up provides an easy and meaningful way to get involved.
