IKEA Pop Up Shop is now open
The retailer has also announced it is set to recruit for 120 new roles ahead of IKEA Brighton opening later this summer
Thursday 17th April 2025: IKEA is set to open a temporary pop-up shop in Brighton on Friday 18 April, offering a space for Brightonians to meet, design and shop with the brand ahead of the Brighton store opening later this summer.
The pop-up will be in the West Mall of Churchill Square Shopping Centre, in between MANGO and Schuh and will remain open until late July.
Customers will be met with a taste of IKEA’s most popular home furnishing solutions, including the highly customisable METOD kitchen range and the iconic PAX wardrobe system, all specially selected to appeal to the diverse home environments in Brighton.
The unit will offer complimentary, personalised design support, empowering customers to create the spaces of their dreams, as well as 150 home furnishing accessories for immediate takeaway. The pop-up shop will also host a click and collect service, allowing customers to pick up parcel orders at a convenient time for them.
In anticipation of the permanent store’s opening later this summer, next week IKEA is also launching a recruitment campaign to fill 120 new job roles. The home furnishing retailer is seeking passionate individuals to join its team in various roles from sales to interior design, merchandising and furniture building. IKEA’s temporary Brighton pop-up shop will be open Monday to Wednesday 10:00-18:00, Thursday to Saturday 10:00-19:00 and Sunday 11:00-17:00, from 18th April.
The opening date for the permanent IKEA Brighton store will be announced in due course.
