CHURCHILL SQUARE TRANSFORMS EVENING SHOPPING
CHURCHILL SQUARE TRANSFORMS EVENING SHOPPING WITH EXTENDED HOURS AND EXCITING NEW DINING DESTINATION
Churchill Square extends opening hours to 8pm Monday-Saturday from September 1st, perfectly timed with new IKEA store launch featuring stunning sea-view restaurant
Churchill Square is excited to announce extended opening hours specifically designed around Brighton & Hove life, staying open until 8pm Monday through Saturday from September 1st. This change comes directly from listening to our local community's needs for more flexible shopping that fits around work, family, and Brighton's unique lifestyle.
Perfect timing with the arrival of Sussex's first city centre IKEA store, complete with a restaurant serving those
legendary meatballs and plant balls – all while enjoying our famous seafront views that make Brighton special.
"We know Brighton life doesn't stop at 6pm" said Rees Cooke, Partner Relationship Leader at Churchill Square
"Whether you're finishing work in the Lanes, picking up kids from local schools, or meeting mates before heading to dinner, we want Churchill Square to work around your schedule."
Made for Brighton Life
These extended hours respond directly to feedback telling us more flexibility for shopping around work and family commitments is needed.
Your evening Brighton routine just got better:
• Finish work in town? Pop into Apple for that phone repair or Zara for Friday night outfit
• School pickup done? Swing by the new IKEA with the kids (they'll love the restaurants sea view!)
• Meeting friends? Start at Churchill Square, then head down to the seafront
• Date night prep? Everything you need under one roof, then stroll to Brighton's legendary restaurant scene
The new IKEA brings Scandinavian design to the heart of Brighton – no more trips to Croydon! And that restaurant? It's got the kind of sea views that remind you why living in Brighton is pretty special.
Supporting Brighton Families & Workers
We know Brighton families are juggling school runs, work schedules, and trying to squeeze in some personal time. Brighton professionals are finishing later and want convenience without the weekend crowds. This is Churchill Square's answer – built around how Brighton actually lives.
"From Hove parents to Preston Park professionals, from Kemptown creatives to Portslade families – we want to be part of your Brighton story," added Ekaterina Chastova, Customer Experience Leader at Churchill Square "These hours mean you can grab what you need, when you need it, and still have time for everything else Brighton offers."
More Than Shopping – It's Community
The extended hours transform Churchill Square into Brighton's after-work meeting point. Start your evening here, then explore everything from the North Laine's independent shops to the seafront's evening attractions. It's about connecting our community, not competing with it.
Brighton's Churchill Square extended hours begin Monday, 1st September – 8pm closing, Monday through Saturday.
