When you visit one of our two Giving Trees, (located outside Bershka and Mango), each gift tag represents a real child across Sussex - perhaps a little one in hospital dreaming of a cuddly toy, or a teenager facing hardship who simply wishes for art supplies.
By choosing a tag, buying the suggested gift, and dropping it unwrapped at Customer Service before Christmas Eve, you become part of something magical.
Through our partnership with Rockinghorse Children's Charity, your gift doesn't just reach a child - it delivers hope to an entire family during their darkest moments, proving that strangers can become guardian angels and that every child deserves to wake up on Christmas morning knowing they are loved and remembered by their community.
How to Participate – It's Simple
Step 1: Visit Our Giving Trees Located outside Bershka and outside Mango, our festive trees are decorated with gift tags representing real children in need. Each tag shows a child's age and gift suggestion – from cuddly toys to art supplies.
Step 2: Choose Your Tag Select a tag that speaks to you. Whether you choose to help a 3-year-old who would love a teddy bear or a 12-year-old hoping for a book, every gift makes a difference.
Step 3: Purchase the Gift Buy the requested item from one of our stores. Please keep gifts unwrapped so Rockinghorse can sort and distribute them appropriately.
Step 4: Drop Off Your Gift Bring your gift and the original tag to our Customer Service Desk before Christmas Eve. Our team will ensure every present reaches its intended recipient in time for Christmas morning.
Gift Guidelines
To ensure every child receives an appropriate gift, please follow these simple guidelines:
Gifts should match the age and suggestion on your chosen tag
Please keep gifts unwrapped – Rockinghorse will handle final wrapping and distribution
Gift value suggestions range from £5-£25, but any contribution is welcome
Churchill Square gift cards are also available to be purchased and donated
