Break the bag habit

In 2019, we introduced Break the Bag Habit and has now become a staple campaign in our marketing strategy to support national Recycle Week.

Break the Bag Habit aims to remove all the plastic & paper bags in our retailers for one day a year and since its inception we have provided 52,960 ethically produced tote bags.

Goldsmiths previously returned repaired items to customers in plastic bags and for this campaign, specifically produced material pouches as a replacement. They have continued to use only the material pouches and not returned to using the plastic bags since.
